I updated the Advanced Notification proposal[1] slightly, now including
some concrete code changes. [2]
There are obviously still many features missing[3], but before I
continue I would like to know if this is a step in the right direction.
Too much? Too little? Is there hope that a future version of the
AnnouncerPlugin could be based on this infrastructure? That the old
TracNotification TicketNotifyEmail classes could be deprecated and
eventually removed?
I think so, but most important is that the community can agree on an
approach. (I don't want to end up with three different notification
systems :)
Any feedback is appreciated.
