Well I was thinking what if you wanted to switch out the renderer but keep the trac "frame". If you just use mod_rewrite or something else then you'll basically be at a wholly different site. But really I'm just brainstorming on this, because I'm not sure such a system would be really worth it but just to clarify what I meant is a plugin that rendered the page exactly like Trac except that it changed the rules for how it transformed the wiki page text into HTML.
