I think http://projects.edgewall.com/trac/ticket/2207 talks about this as well, or at least similarly. The last comment was contributed by a user of dsource.org, my multiple-project instance of Trac that I host for an open-source community. It is interesting that he talks about having version-specific extracts of wikis, kind of like "Give me what the wiki looked like for version 0.9 and what it looked like for version 1.0" Not sure that the best implementation is, right now, but it seems doable.
