Hi guys,

As I have previously noted (and been flamed for to some extent :)), trac is only useful for us with the workflow. I have been using the sandbox for a quite long time now and it has caused me very little concern. I have been impressed with the speed with which the maintainers patches changes from trunk into the sandbox. No problem there at all.

At one time it was broken, but I run my trac on a different machine so I can test and verify trac on my machine before it is deployed. I always keep a copy of the previous binary install file, should there be a problem that I cannot circumvent; then it is easy to roll back using previous binary. This off course provided that the update did not require a database upgrade, in which case I would test my copy vigorously before deploying.

All in all we have enjoyed the workflow version with very little trouble.

Sincerely,
Philip Bergen

Thanks. So we could be looking at 4 weeks before it gets merged to
trunk? That would be lovely. :)

If you have no qualms about running trunk, why don't you just run the
workflow branch?

How frequently are changes to trunk merged to the Workflow branch?
