R David Murray added the comment: The problem with that suggestion is that this is just the message template that is used when an email submission fails. So if a user did a reply to a tracker message, and their reply failed for some reason, they would get a message that said "this message is being sent to python-dev" when it wasn't.
The easiest solution here, I think, is to change the 'from' address in the repository hook to be tracker-discuss instead of python-dev. We will presume that people on the tracker-discuss list will not be as surprised to see tracker error messages on the list. ---------- nosy: +r.david.murray status: unread -> chatting _______________________________________________________ PSF Meta Tracker <metatrac...@psf.upfronthosting.co.za> <http://psf.upfronthosting.co.za/roundup/meta/issue492> _______________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Tracker-discuss mailing list Tracker-discuss@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/tracker-discuss
