I am new to APRS. I have been using the computer only of ui-view32 for a while
now and am now going to expand on that. When successful it will be the first
digipeater in Chemung County. I have a pc that will be only for APRS. I have a
Standard comercial 25 watt radio reprogramed to 144.390. I bought a Tracker2
and built the LCD display. Now I need to connect everything. I had Jason at RPC
Electronics make the cable for me to go between the radio and the Tracker2.
Most of the connections are obvious, however where does the 1/8" phono plug go?
Is there any other hardware items or connections I need to be aware of before I
dive into the firmware, software, and setup? Thanks for any help you can give
the new guy.
