I was attempting to re organize the garage today and came across a virtually brand new convertacom unit model number n1244a. For those of you that have never heard of these units, they are docking station for older Motorola hand handhelds (I believe this ones for a MX300) when the radio is in the dock it receives power from the dock and the transmitted signal goes into a 40w amplifier.
Has any one had any experience using the amplifier out of and old Motorola convertacom for packet? I was thinking that this amplifier might work well with a T2-301 for a mobile tracker. Sean, VE6SAR
