Hi All, It's glad to join this group. My name is daus, from Indonesia. I'm interested in APRS. I've read some articles to understand this technology, but it's not clear enough for a newbie like me.
First, I need confirmation, just to make sure that my understanding of APRS equipment is correct. What I understand of a simple APRS equipment consist of: 1. a GPS 2. a tracker, and 3. a transceiver 4. TNC is just an alternatives if I don't use the tracker. Sometimes, trackers already has a transceiver, such as T2-301. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I saw that T2-301 is able to send GPS data. I saw also that T2-301 is able to send a telemetry data. I have a question here. Can it sends both of the data (GPS and telemetry)simultaneously? I mean, can it sends those data in the same mode? No matter whether the data are sent in a single message or separated message. Thank you. Regards, Daus
