Depends what you want to do. At the min, you need a radio and tnc.
If you plan to use it mobile, and want to advertize your position, then a gps is also required And then for either option, A screen is defently nice. The T2-301 is a radio + tnc APRS has no limits of what you can do at the same time, you can send posit's (gps location), status, messages, telemetry all at the same time, without changing anything, the only limitation is your input to the unit. the tracker2/t2-301 can handle position and tele without problems (just add gps for position if not in a fixed place). And if using it with a garmin it can do messages also. If connected to a computer, then anything can be done. Generally a tracker is just a radio + tnc + gps Quoting daus <[email protected]>: > Hi All, > It's glad to join this group. My name is daus, from Indonesia. I'm > interested in APRS.
