Look very carefully at the parameters of <= or > when setting Smart Beaconing setings. I usually work with profile 1, once set up, I open porfile two and 'copy' from profile 1....saving me time in setting the icon, callsign, text data, etc... it will also copy the Smart beaconing paramters. So make sure the less than equal too, greater than equal too, less than, greater than symbols are legit. Otherwise it WILL stay in one profile.
I use profile one while parked. Strickly a timed beaconing. Once speed above 5MPH ( to account for GPS position drifting ) it goes into profile 2 with smart beaconing. It's a computer after all, garbage in will give you garbage out! lol Kriss KA1GJU-x --- In [email protected], "Keith VE7GDH" <ve7...@...> wrote: > > Dan WD0AFQ wrote... > > > One of units is home in Mo. as my digi.
