There's a status category code of D0 (change search criteria) and a status code of 485 (More information available than can be returned in real time mode. Narrow your search criteria.) This is part of the composite status field (STC01) within an STC segment. Since you're real-time, you may want to look into using these codes. This forces people into using more selective search criteria for the inquiry, such as narrowing a date range.

We are building a real time solution for the 276/277 transaction. We are using a Web page for a real time application and would limit the number of responses to a single inquiry to 99. We can control this through the web environment, but how do we let the Trading Partner know that there were more the 99 responses within the 277? I have searched everywhere and can not come up with any ideas. All responses are appreciated. Thank you.
