Yes, I'm still alive (just swamped by work), and nope, I don't. (:
I remember trying to get the PVM code to compile a long time back, and I
don't think I ever succeeded completely. I agree that PVM should be
disabled for the moment; maybe change the configure script to output a
warning if --enable-pvm3 is given?
