Ok, I don't have any experience with the newer Intel architectures.
Probably both architectures are compatible up to a specific level
(obviously if you're able to run an amd64 distro on an Intel Core), but
transcode tries some heavy AMD CPU optimization here, which fails on
Intel?
I think some transcode core developers have to take over here... ;)
