Hi Chris, Thank you for the offer,.. but I'm not familiar with Python code.. so I don't think that I will attempt using other code to mess up my Pootle installation.
So hopefully someone with a Pootle installation already has found a way to get the machine translation working again with Google API v2 or Apertium. I don't know about plugging in to Poolte, but at Sugar Labs, we have a supy-derived meeting-bot that acts as a cross-channel translator to facilitate multilingual chat. One of our devs ported it from Google API to Apertium (at least for Spanish). I don't know a lot of the details, but I can ask if the code changes are in a repo somewhere. cjl Carlson EMEA b.v. | Phone +31 (0)36 750 1781 | www.carlsonemea.com ________________________________ [http://www.carlsonemea.com/webimages/ITEM_News.jpg] [Latest CarlsonEMEA Corporate News] <http://www.carlsonemea.com/index.php/eng/News/Corporate> [http://www.carlsonemea.com/webimages/ITEM_Product.jpg] [Latest CarlsonEMEA Product News] <http://www.carlsonemea.com/index.php/eng/News/Product> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Write once.
