I just joined the TREO club when I got my own TREO 2 weeks ago. I
went through two days of total frustration getting email to work
with TREO. I must say that some of the techs at verizon data
support are very good. If you have not called them you should. They
are 24x7. I got hold of one dude that knew this thing inside and
out.

Anyway, I am doing the unholy thing of synching with Lotus notes and
a pop3 personal message service and it all works flawlessly. The
verizon wireless sync app has got lots of settings that affect your
ability to successfully move email around. It can "push" email
around in both directions or you can synch on a schedule (also known
as readysync). You also have to have the Verizon wirelesssync
server configured properly, which you get to through the internet.
You might log into your account and check the account settings. Try
setting it up to "push all email".

Its all kind of complicated. I'm pretty techy but I've never had
something make me hide in the corner and whimper like setting up the
TREO.

Now that its finally working I am pretty stunned to see that the
TREO knows about Lotus notes email before my PC notes client
does. :-) its awesome to have two syching with my calendar working
now.
