Lovely, I also used to just pay only my tithe and nothing else not becoz i didnt want to but becoz i realised that whenever i want to give an offering i wound find myself with only enough for the combie going back home. Then i read a scripture (cant remember the exact verse) which says you must not come into my house empty handed, i prayed about it. Come the next sunday i found myself in the same situation, with just enough for the combie. Just before the time to give, I started praying kuti Jehovah dai vandigonesa kupawo to fufill His word. The moment i said Amen, a lady who was next to me just extended her hand to me and said o iyi ukande chipo. this prayer was a silent prayer, there was no way she could have heard me, but i believe God Provided (Jehovah Jireh) and from that day i would find myself with an extra something to give to God.
The other thing i realised is it is not the amount you give that matters but the value you put to what you give. Remember the widow story (when Jesus said kupa kune mufaro unokunda kugamuchira). What i can say is pray about it. Prayer is the key On Thu, Feb 3, 2011 at 7:03 AM, LIZ <[email protected]> wrote: > Malachi 1 verse 8 > > "When you bring blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong?
