Healing is process which starts with your thoughts, don't change your thoughts
towards someone because you are in anger. remember this Pst Tom taught us that
your fight is not against the person but against the spirit/influence behind
the person. Sometimes you need to create space and love from a distance until
you can handle a close relationship with that person.
first practice is to control your thinking towards that person - if you get the
first step correct the rest is in align with right thinking - right actions -
right results.

That’s a good Uncle Jae, now in practice whats the application? How
do I go back to love the guy who repeatedly offended me? How do I genuinely do
it, by that I mean not lying to myself?

i
have been learning in bible school that, we live under one commandment which
is.....Walking in Love/Love thy neighbour as you love your self........... the
most interesting part about this is having the knowledge of motivation to love
people who actually hate like smanga said its almost impossible. when you have
enough knowledge of why you should do it, it make it a whole lot easier.

One
of the greatest hindrance to our faith is unforgivness, i think its the
greatest. Love is the power of faith because when you walk in love you full
fill all the 10 commandments making you upright with God to declare anything to
come to pass. the authority of the believer is strengthened in the walk of
love, the devil will always try to offend you because when you are offended its
easy to submit your authority to him. Love is our one commandment that will
enable us to reach the fulness of who we are and who God is - the more you know
the easier it will be to walk in love.
