[Trisquel-users] Upgrade to Slaine

I'm having problems to boot my recent Taranis system. When I had installed  
it, Trisquel configured it in such a way that it created a new general  
partition as sda4 on my system and in that there are sda5 which holds my  
Trisquel installation, sda6 - a swap file system and sda7 as a general data  
space larger than the latter two.
Now I'm wondering if I create a Trisquel Slaine live USB to install the new  
system if it'd be capable of detecting the old Trisquel system and overwrite  
it. If that would be possible, I think I'd get the new version and solve my  
boot problem at the same time :/
