The most of proprietary software is free... as in beer(freeware). Ten
companies around the world create software or some softwares, sell like
monopoly and grows to the point of becoming billionaires only sell one
software for ten years or more. And about the others medium or small
companies?
The big problem about free software is when you compare only with Adobe,
Microsoft, Apple, Oracle. The inovation comes from everywhere, in the small
companies, small schools and many another places.
Is possible to have only free software and I think the only people who may
run out of money are the speakers on the philosophy behind free software.
Because everybody already uses free software. ;)
