My personal preference is Fluxbox, which is already in the reps for both standard and mini and I appreciate that. Eye candy gets old fast around here, but it's nice to have a choice. I used multiple DEs when I was running Ubuntu, depending on my mood, what I needed to accomplish that day, and which other family member would be using the computer. My kids run the gamut from geeky five year old to disinterested 21 year old who runs windoze at home.
