Using the Synaptic Package Manager, search for "boinc".  Click on "boinc"  
when it is presented and that will automatically select the sub-topic files  
such "boinc-client".  I can't speak to the exact wording of the apply choices  
to click on, but a little applied common sense will result in installing the  
boinc software package.
