I recently started using KeePassX. It's much easier to memorize one absurdly  
long password than dozens of moderate-length passwords.

The only weakness of this method is that your passwords end up on your  
clipboard. Not a problem if, like me, you reject all dynamically loaded  
JavaScript, but if you don't, that JavaScript code can pull your password  
from your clipboard. So I'm in the habit of selecting some word or character  
on the page and copying it to the clipboard after I've entered a password.
