[Trisquel-users] Could Trisquel 8 switch to MATE?

As of Ubuntu 15.04 onward, Ubuntu MATE is an official spin meaning MATE  
packages are available by default and will get feature and security updates  
from here on. Things can only get better with 16.04, for which Trusquel 8  
will be based on.

While I applaud Ruben's work in getting Gnome 3 classic almost usuable, maybe  
its best to switch to MATE to get the pre version 6 look and features that  
made the Gnome 2 versions so great. Low in resources and works well without  
3D accelleration.
