If that would be by design (which is not, it is a bug), it would be like a  
usage restriction, a DRM. I am against DRMs. Even if they prevent the user  
from running proprietary software.

Would you please stop ad hominem (and unfounded) attacks? Posts with such  
content deserve a -1 in my opinion.
