Hi, I am having a number of problems regarding installing Trisquel encrypted.
Firstly, I attempted to install Trisquel using the net installation CD. It all went fine (allowing me to install everything except /boot encrypted using the useful 'guided partitioning with encrypted LVM' option) until the stage installing the bootloader. Grub fails, and so I installed LILO instead. However, it only ever boots the one time after installation, because I have found out that it installs itself onto the installation USB drive. Repeating these steps exactly and looking at the installation logs, the installer gets confused between /dev/sda and dev/sdc: sdc is the target disk while sda is the USB drive, but GRUB appears to want sda!

So I then decided to install using the Trisquel Mini dusk because I have done this many times problem-free. I looked for a text-only option but there was none so I just decided to use the graphical installer. This gave no errors. I selected 'erase disk and install Trisquel', 'encrypt the installation' and set up LVM because this is closest to the option in the text-only installer (and Debian). However, instead of a single small /boot partition, there is a large 15GoB partition! This appears to be the whole of / save /home! This seems silly and begs the question why include it at all if ecryptfs for /home directories is there too. The most pressing question is, how do I easily get an encrypted install, save /boot that remains readable by the BIOS, like in Debian text installer? Or have I missed something crucial about the graphical installer?
Thanks in advance.
