I just installed Trisquel yesterday and installed everything without a hitch.
The only problem I'm having is that, while the login screen looks fine over
my HDMI connection to a 24" 1080p monitor, upon logging in, the monitor is
detected as being 7", and the desktop scaling is way off such that I can't
see the menu bar or task bar.
I did some digging and found that this issue pops up with some Samsung
monitors on other distros as well, but I've never had an issue on Ubuntu
(what I used previously).
Does anyone know of any solutions to this sort of problem?
Some additional details:
-The monitor modes are all correct, i.e. I see 1920x1080 @ 60Hz in the
settings window, and in the output of xrandr -q
-Graphics are onboard Intel graphics from an older chip
