If you have to use a cell phone, Replicant + F-droid is the best.  The second  
best solution (Replicant only runs on old models and not all their  
peripherals are supported) is the Librem 5, which will include some  
proprietary drivers.  Then, LineageOS (full of proprietary drivers) +  
F-Droid.  Never install Google Apps if you care about your freedom and  
privacy.
