As chaosmonk wrote, Eclipse is in Trisquel's repository. That repository includes as well OpenJFX 8, which may be all you need.
One problem with VirtualBox is that only a proprietary compiler, Open Watcom,
can compile the code of its BIOS. Another problem is the "VirtualBox OSE
Guest Additions", which are proprietary:
