My 2¢a) it should be Qt::BusyCursor, not Qt::WaitCursor (the UI isn't locked, you can still successfully interact w/ it) b) "m_busyCursorTrigger->start(500);" - telling the user prominently about every minor task makes Trojitá look ... "busy", but if it takes longer, the user should know.
