Oh dear - I seem to have stumbled over what could only have been invisible
precious "things" arrayed around the stark, staring walls of this Trom list -
or then again maybe it was just because it is so dark in here that I couldn't
see them.
Let's see - I thought it was a place where people who were reading/studying
TROM could raise any queries or share any experiences thereof (as stated in
TROM list "Have fun TROMing, and feel free (to) write in wins and queries ...
and people are free to send in the wins, progress and questions
concerning TROM").
But I have twice now been advised that by seeking to clarify what Dennis meant
in his "LRH failed" comment, that I should take it elsewhere, somewhere more
"scientological" - what the !...@#@! How is that going to clarify what Dennis
Stephens meant when he wrote it in TROM?
I thought I was proceeding as Dennis advised - to make sure I understood
everything as well as possible before starting Level 5. And I thought that I
may prevail upon the years of prior experience with TROM via this list, to
assist me with that.
I don't get it - what is the list for then? If it is a
"TROM-stroking-group-ONLY" - well, that is certainly a poor representation of
the results of applying TROM.
And from my 4 or 5 months on this list it has revealed a few "negative"
attributes, which seem to be spilling out here:
- very little communication at all, from anyone other than Pete - which I find
amazing when there are over 80 members;
- "no help", well not that was announced anyway, on the part of one or two
members who obviously could have helped in trying to contact Greg Matthews re
the missing tape;
- defensive/reactive communication re raising the clarification of Scientology
to Trom (& I find this last one a doozy - hey, Dennis only entered into his
development of Trom due to having first been involved in the development of
Scientology - he uses Scientology terms & concepts - it's right there in front
of anyone who reads his material. He did not make up new terms as LRH did when
first developing Dianetics & Scientology - he could have, but he did not - what
he did change was the processes - hence the enquiry.).
So if I were to observe the actions of this group as an example of TROM's
efficacy I may have to reconsider proceeding further with it.
I will try to look at it as per Conflicting Postulates - it would appear that
this list has a PD postulate of "Mustn't Know" to my SD of "Must be known" -
buy, hey, I am not 100% certain about that because, afterall, I have only just
started on Level 5 (yes, I have actually started for all those members who were
growing tired of my talking).
