output options?

Does trplayer support the enlightened sound daemon (esd, eSounD)?  Or,
alternatively, can trplayer output raw-audio on stdout (so that it could
be piped into esdplay?)

While I love the functionality trplayer provides, I am finding that it
is interfering with other processes on my system which occasionally use
/dev/dsp.  (for beeps, status messages, etc.)
