OK, I have implemented timed playback in my current working version.
You can use it like this:

trplayer -t 30 file.ram

for 30 seconds, or:

trplayer -t 5:30 file.ram

for 5 minutes and 30 seconds, or:

trplayer -t 1:5:30 file.ram

for 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 30 seconds.  In all of these cases, leading
zeros can be included, though they're optional.
