What I usually do in situations like that is trace the system calls that the
binary executes in order to see what is failing. You can do this with the
strace command as follows:
strace -o strace-output-file trplayer whatever.rm
If you find the strace output to be too difficult to interpret, attach it to an
email and send it to me.
