Hi Terry: If it were that way with Christ we would see it in scripture by two or more witnesses. The kinsman redeemer concept is a beautiful one for Ruth and Boaz who were God's OT covenant people after the flesh.  We as gentiles become God's covenant people in Christ after the Spirit - at least that's the way I understand it.   judyt   From what I can understand, it seems to me that Bill has a theory, nothing more.  Theories are a dime a dozen.
