Need someone to change the diapers, stick the bottle in their mouth and burp em. The fact that there has been error from the beginning, proves what? Man is sinful and disobedient. His heart is decietful & wicked.
We see Error in listening to God's word in the garden (at the instigation of a certain character who said "Yea hath God said?" Eve could not even quote the simple command in Gen 3), error and false letters in Pauls day
Bible corrupters existed then & NOW 2 Th 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
False letters
2 Th 2:2 "That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us" the problem is not with God or His word it is with us.
Why did God have to tell Israel time and again do not turn aside FROM THE WORDS? Du 28:14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them
Why were the Kings of israel COMMANDED to copy by hand the scriptures? Du 17

Even the "man of God" could not (or would not) keep Gods word. 1 King 13

Ever see a Catholic version of the Ten (9) commandments? Which one is missing? Why? What scriptures did the Arians try to remove or modify?
God's people are commanded to memorize, to write them on the doorposts, to teach them to their children.

Truth Truth who's got the truth? I can't find the Truth, cause it gets me off the hook if I do not know where it is. How can I be held accountable, if I do not know where it is? Where could it be?

Jer 23 is about pastors that destroy & scatter sheep. Seems they have a problem with the WORDS. They do not "speak my word faithfully" They steal god's words vs 30

Jer 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Jer 23:36 for ye have perverted the words of the living God

and imperatives - will it lead us to your particular doctrine in the end?
It's obvious that God bringing Israel out of Egypt was grace without

If not then please read for understanding. In this way you may be understanding

We can never know if we are right about anything -  that is why change (even for our Mortmon friends  and judyt) is possible.   And that is why Paul tells us that doctrinal knowledge is not the key but love --   I  Co 8:1-3.
