Look to the west at dusk. Watch the disc of the sun. When the last bit falls below the horizon and only the glow is left, the day changes. Precise. Exact. No need to purchase a watch. Freeing.   Even Adam could do it.   As a matter of fact, while you're standing in that direction, thank God for the new day.
