Still way too far and way too long. It would
take us four days to get there, plus four days back.
DAVEH: So what's the problem? Tell the critters you'll also treat
them to a grand tour of some of our national parks, and as an added
bonus you'll toss in Disneyland.........they'll be begging you to stay
on the road an extra week or three.
Slade gets ten days vacation per year.
DAVEH: Who said he needs to go with you? Let him catch a plane. The
kids would just drive him nuts anyway....
:-)
There's no way I'm traveling for four straight
days, hanging for two days and doing it all over again....with or
without kids!
DAVEH: Hmmmmmmmm........You don't sound very devoted to TT,
Kay.......... :-(
You guys have fun and take lots of pictures!
Kay
DAVEH: Don't for a minute consider not coming, Kay. As I see it,
there are two options for you.
1) Tell the critters that IF they will be good in the car, you
will drive them to the beach. Leave early in the morning and hopefully
they will be asleep when you turn the wrong way to get on the freeway.
(And...be sure to warn them that if they misbehave on the way, they'll
have to catch a ride home with John!)
2) Buy one first class air ticket........and let Izzy bring your
kids in her car.
3) Staying at home is not an option.... :-)

If you are serious, Dave, I am interested in exploring
this idea. Is anybody else interested?
Peace be with you.
