Similarly, we can speak all we want to about love. Unless the words we
use are crafted with care, the words kill the love.

When one wants to become a Rabbi, a
young man begins to sit at the feet of a rabbi. He follows his teacher, watches
how he interacts with his environment, how he responds to those of the Covenant
and those outside the covenant, watches as he studies and davens (prays), and
listens as he teaches those around him. The Rabbi does not give lectures on how
to be a Rabbi; nor does he teach
the principles of Sermon Delivery. The student must watch,
listen, and learn the lifestyle.
In a Gerizah Shavah [i.e. in a similar vein], Torah study is not
just sitting in front of Kosher parchment with a yad [pointer], studying the
text of Torah. The study of Torah is life and life should embody Torah study.
Torah study [application] begins away from the bimah [study desk]. This
is the only way one can expect to be more like Messiah.
Thankfully, the butterfly still extends her wings, even with some of her
fuzz rubbed off.
