Because Christ physical ministry was to the Jews and not the Gentiles.   Couple that with the fact that all such statments are presented to a Jewish audience.  JD   So then it follows that His promises are in the physical realm only??? Scripture is not just presented to a Jewish audience, nor are the promises of Christ.  If you want to prove it you will have to prove it one scripture at a time instead of saying something vague and meaningless like “all such statements”.    You are grasping at straws—sorry you are so wrong (it must be awful!).  Izzy
