Debbie, it may be beyond you to comprehend the situation of the common folks who must choose between expensive art and putting their tithe in the plate when it goes by.  Which would you choose if, God forbid, you had to make that choice? They are creating for themselves, an audience that unfortunately has a low standard--not only aesthetically, but in terms of honesty and realism. And also, incidentally, doesn't believe good art is worth paying for.
