No Judy, I won't restrain myself! On those
occasions wherein I've spoken to my belief as to the genuineness of your
discipleship, I quite meant every one. On those occasions that I've addressed,
IMO, your 'not getting it', I also expressed my heart/mind
conviction.
IFF David has done the same then, there is no hope
of achieving 'dialogical status' between Bill & yourself. It shall remain a
'mutual monologue' where never the twain shall meet. Either David is cutting you a remarkable amount of 'slack' or,
he is a companion heretic on several issues (IMO-please, Mr. Moderator, take
note of this qualifier)

Lance if you have something to say I would be glad to
hear you but I'm a little (no a lot) tired of
these never ending one liners that constantly remind
me of my seeming (to you) ignorance. If you can
show me where I am wrong IN GOD'S WORD I am all eyes
and ears. If not, then please restrain
yourself. judyt
YOU KNOW NOT WHEREOF YOU SPEAK!!
Not a very pleasant way to express yourself
Bill.
If you have had all you can take - it is your
problem rather than mine.
Be glad to communicate whenever you have
recovered. judyt
Judy, I agree with all of this just fine
(in that I am able to draw the distinctions necessary to apprehend your
position and based upon those distinctions, find enough common ground to
agree with you), but I have had all of you I can take for one day. If
you want to address this later, when you are more willing to make an
honest effort to apprehend my positions, then I may consider pursuing
this. But not until then.
Bill
Good, then we can move on to what the
scriptural definitions of life and death might be.
Have we established the fact that
God, Satan, and mankind are all spirit and all commune spirit to
spirit?.
Job tells us "there is a spirit in man and
the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding
(32:8)
Moses & Aaron knew "O God, the God of the
spirits of all flesh" (Num 16:22)
In Proverbs we are told "the spirit of man is
the candle of the Lord searching all the inward parts of the belly
(20:27)
Proverbs also teaches that "perverseness is a
breach in the spirit" (15:4)
Where is man's spirit?
The spirit is not the body and the spirit is
not the mind; the heart of man is his spirit
A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance,
but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken (Prov
15:13)
A man's spirit can sustain his infirmity but
a broken spirit who can bear (Prov 18:14)
God says "I formeth the spirit of man within
him" (Zech 12:1)
Any problem with the above?
judyt
Thank you, Judy. Yes, I am very
happy to agree with you on all of these things. Bill
Bill, could we
discuss some areas where we do agree allowing scripture to
interpret scripture
because for me it is totally
frustrating to have to go the
long route by way of Gk philosophy, logic, etc.
Could we agree on the following for a
start?
God is a Spirit (John 4:24)
Man is primarily spirit, soul, and body
(1 Thess 5:23)
Satan is a spirit (Heb 1:7) he is a
fallen angel and angels are spirits
If we can agree on the above then
hopefully we can move on to what God means when He speaks
of
life and death - rather than replicating the errors of the ancients.
