Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the FATHER of both (Jehovahs Witness & Mormon ) Religions ( and all others ) had something to do with a star.

In his early days, Brooke F. Westcott, took on the study of Mormonism and he studied the book of Mormon. And remember in Mormon belief, Jesus and Satan were brothers.
