I simply do that for those of you who want to throw it all out.  I realize that it would be better if we all kept all of it.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with a “gentile” non-Jew observing Passover—it is a wonderful remembrance of what Jesus accomplished on the cross.  The same goes to every other Jewish festival—they all testify to what Yeshua has done or will do! And I’d much rather our nation observed Jewish civil laws than the hodge-podge of criminal-coddling laws we have today—look at the shape our society is in! Obviously we should not keep the Levitical liturgical laws, as there is no longer a temple, and Jesus tore the curtain in two that keeps the laity out of the inner sanctuary—we are now the priests if we are in Christ, and He is our sacrifice.

And David Miller, please explain to me what you mean when you say we should keep the law “spiritually” but not physically.  How does one do that??? Don’t lie (spiritually), but do it physically?  Don’t commit adultery (spiritually), but do it physically?  I’m obviously not getting your point.  iz

Linda,  you are the one who continually separates the Law into categories.

Better to accept all of it than to discard all of it. iz

Excellent point, JD.  I think dividing up Torah into ceremonial, civil, and

moral laws leads to an inadequate understanding of what Torah is and why it

was given.  We should either accept all of it or none of it.

Peace be with you.

David Miller.
