Hie I read about move git + github. It's the solution? I think, not.
For example TrytonSpain users (l10n from Spain) are working with hg + bitbucket (1). We started with hgreview but now we are working with issues and pull request in bitbucket (and a lot messages in mailing list!) I think to faster contribution is about user roles. In my experience, Céd is who aprobe features, reviews and patch in default branch. Only a person. Maybe more users to do those tasks is more faster. (and I'm not a candidate!). My 2 cts.
