Best to try it. Some (me) are using it in production without major issues. Others (those scarab kids) have run into some problems. The big problem is that there are no comprehensive tests, so I at least find it difficult to say how solid each piece is. However, there is a lot of good code there, and the problems are getting fixed as people find them.
