I get that error under 1.4 but it doesn't cause the bootstrap to fail.

Can you post your error details?

Has anyone encountered problems in compiling (with javac 1.3.1, ant
1.4.1) because of
case sentitive concerns ( org.X class clashes with package of same name
: org.x ) ?
This looks like I'm having a problem with that here .
