You add goals by creating a maven.xml file in you project root.

Look at any plugin.jelly files for an example format for the maven.xml.

Any goals you define in maven.xml should be seen by typing 'maven -g'

Treat these goals like any other. For pre/post type goals name your goals like
pre-<goalnamehere> or post-<goalnamehere>. I think that's the latest convention
anyway...
