Peter is right..  There is a ldap service, and it does some stuff..  I think
mostly reading though..  The ldap service had to jump through a lot of hoops
to work with the old Turbine Security.  Things like faking out the Torque
objects and subclassing/overriding base security methods.

With fulcrum security, it should be much simpler to implement your own
backend based on LDAP.
