Too much magic is bad, but there is a balancing act to be done. You need to show productivity enhancing features with the wiz-bang effect to hook people in, but unfortunately that's where the magic which turns people off happens! The key in my mind is to have a compelling -- but very short -- story of how your super-cool feature works to tell as you show it off. In an intro screen cast people don't need to know the details of how everything works underneath the hood, but they need to know And probably, a super-cool framework will ultimately need one set of screencasts/tutorials/online documents for intro-marketing and another set of materials for learning the framework. --Mark --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
