I like how quickstart asks questions (with reasonable defaults). I agree that it would be nice to shortcut the questions for 90% of the users. would it be possible to add on option like "--verify_all_defaults" that would ask the configuration questions for all options. If the command line option was not set, then the shortest possible list of questions would be asked. If the command line option was set, then all config questions would be asked. If you wanted to, you could also add domain specific flags --verify_orm --verify_ui_template ???? That would meet your goal of very few questions for the simple project, and all questions for more advanced options.
